Aloha to all of you!
Well, hubby's been messing around with his pictures lately. I thought "Oh, no, not again!"
But, honestly, they came out pretty good. I hoped they would, after he won that contest, but they don't always work out. Sometimes he gets a little too heavy for me to like it. This batch shows the good side of things, at least on our monitor. Most of them are just kind of nothing exciting, yet he edited them to create a sense of interest. I hope you will find that sense about them.
So, hold on tight and away we go!
This was taken at a local castle ruins. You can't visit the castle, but the view is incredible.
A lovely view of a stream, barn, and field. Hubby wanted to clean up the sky and add a touch of blue; I told him it didn't look right.
Here is field along the roadside with some apple trees. Hubby used some new software to try out for this one.
Yet another field. What I like about this one is the purple color in the sky. The funny thing is, it really looked like that!
Some sheep and colored machinery.
Just some sheep grazing. He takes a lot of sheep pics for Jasmine. She loves when daddy brings her sheep pics!
These next 3 pics really grabbed my interest, even though they are of nothing exciting!
This is the higher color version of the pic he took. It looks nice by itself, I think. Don't you?
Here he made it black and white with some settings. I think it's kind of dramatic!
And here he layered the 2 above pics then he adjusted it to look like an old hand painted photo.
All that stuff, I'm not sure what it does and how it works. Hubby showed me and explained it to me, but even for him it can get really confusing. (Yes, he'll admit that much! Ha-ha!) Now I want to try it. He says if the pics are opened in a software that will view them at their high coloring, they won't look right, but they should print right. I'm going to try it out and let you know in a couple days.
I love the effects he gets from just trying different things and experimenting! I hope you'll let me know what you think.
Well, thanks for the joy of your company and your continued visits! God bless, and a great week to all of you! Don't forget to visit An Angel's Journey for more stories and the occasional photo.
Ciao!

Happy Birthday
Aloha, my friends!
Time to share another adventure. Sunday we went to a birthday party for a friend's son. It was Jeffrey's second birthday, and some of us had a little get together.
Jasmine made the most of it, playing with Jeffrey, Masha, Stephen, and the others. We adults talked and enjoyed our young ones playing so excitedly. There was music, games, and FOOD! Lots of yummy food and glad friendship to be had by all. The best part was all the merry making of our darling children. Jasmine was having so much fun, especially with Brian and Stephen. She had so much fun, that when it came time to bid our goodbyes she refused to leave. I had to tell her that it was late already and that we needed to be home so that we can say goodnight to daddy. Anyway, she finally did calm down and got into the car while waving goodbye to everyone. (Like a beauty queen riding in the parade!) So, without farther ado, here are some pictures of the festivities.
The birthday boy and friends!
Cake time!
This is so yummy!
Blue cake is better than lipstick!
Playing with Brian! He's a great kid who the kids all love.
Jasmine looking at the sand!
Cheers, mommy!
MMMM!
Running around.
Snack break, as much fun as play time!
Children really are a gift from heaven, a true treasure from our loving creator, and the source of so much joy and spiritual wealth! Yes, sometimes they fill our lives with frustration and worry, but the gift from above always increases the love and joy you feel.
Well, that’s enough for now. May God give you all a great week ahead.
Ciao!
