MV of Riza one of my favorites in PBBCE2.

She maybe Canadian but Riza is pure pinay, her parents hailing from Bulacan and Bataan. Both engineers, her parents’ jobs took them to Canada as immigrants. And although she has lived in North America all her life, Riza is raised with Filipino values and has very close family ties. She admits though to breaking the rules and sneaking out to party with the popular kids one night when she was 16. She returned home to find her sister enraged for her parents were still out looking for her. Riza then vowed never to do it again.
Riza began concentrating on charity work and community service. She even joined the military as a medic. She’s also a counselor at a crisis center for pregnant women and has vowed to save her self for the man she loves on her wedding day. Riza even wears a ring on her engagement finger to seal this promise.
Riza, like most of her family, is an achiever. Aside from her military career and vocations, she studied Biology in college. Quite talented, she has also designed some of the gowns she has worn on pageants. Riza dreams of having a singing and acting career someday too.

I am going to work today so I just post an MV of Riza made by Kristine. Kristine thank you so much for making this video.
Enjoy and have a funfilled week everyone thank you all for keep passing by my place and leaving some wonderfull comments/tags. I appreciate it so much. love you guys!
Ciao!

Were back from our Vacation!

Hello Peeps!

How is everyone doing? Sorry I've taken so long to update my blog. We just came back from a mini vacation with our friends. I was so busy that I forgot to let everyone know I would be gone.

That busy-ness includes watching my favorite teleserial, which ended the 5th. I miss many of the series, but its ok. I am grateful that my favorites won first and second spots. Bisaya gyud naka da-og and I just learn that Riza's Dad speak bisaya, proud Bisdak sab diay ni iyang Daddy.

Anyway, back to our mini vacation, it was a great one. We celebrated the New Year watching fireworks in the back yard. It amazes me whenever I see the magic of fireworks. Plus, having quality time with good friends was priceless. We did some sightseeing and roaming around the area. We also visited Jasmine and Leera's favorites place, "Kid’s Zone,” where they can play and have fun even although it’s winter and icy in Germany.

We even went to see the beautiful city of Trier. Quite a historic place, it’s the oldest city in Germany, having celebrated its 2000th birthday in 1984. Hubby is happy that he had the opportunity to stand where Julius Caesar once stood. Be seemed to bathe in the history of this ancient city. Hubby wants to go back in August to see the gladiators fight in their annual festival. It’s also near Luxemburg, so maybe someday soon I can go there, too.

I have tons of photos from the past week or so that I will try to share with you. I’ve put most here now. I hope you enjoy viewing them.

I would like to say thank you all my online friends for their continued visits, even I have fallen a little behind. I had no chance to update my site while on vacation, I made hubby leave our laptop so we could relax, I guess I was wrong, because from time to time I missed my show and missed blogging too. I will try to update more now that I am home again.
Special thanks to Our good friend's Calaunan Family for such a good host during our stayed, thanks also for the very special gift. God Bless us all! Take care, especially this wintertime.

A Christmas quiz!

You Are an Angel

A truly giving soul, you understand the spirit of Christmas.

What The Holidays Mean to You

For you, the holidays are about celebration. You enjoy all the fun and fellowship that the holidays bring.

You celebrate the holidays in a minimalist style. You are likely to only give one great present and decorate your house with a few special items.

During the holidays, you feel happily busy. There's so much do to and not a lot of time to do it. But you enjoy every minute of your holiday chores.

You think the holidays should be nostalgic and sweet. The holidays bring out your inner child.

Your best holiday memories are of childhood foods and traditions. You secretly still wish you believed in Santa Claus.

Happy week-end!

Aloha, my friends! Good morning and happy third Advent Sunday!

Here I am again sharing some of our weekend activities.

Friday I stayed home, did some errands, and finished my household chores. I received a package from my dear friends Marrietta. She sent some lovely gifts from home in Hawaii. To Marrietta and her hubby, Bill, I send my heartfelt thanks for all you mean to us and do for us. Watching my favorite teleserial ng totoong buhay. I guess you all know that I am hooked on it. My favorite is PBBCE2.

Saturday I went to work, it was somewhat busy at work because of payday. I love it when it’s payday, so many people doing their grocery shopping. It means a lot of work for us; I love it when we are busy because the time is moving fast. I made quite enough for that day. After work, I hurried home to take a shower and get dressed up. Hubby’s company had their Christmas party last night. They held it in our town’s activity area, right across street and up the hill. I got to spend time with hubby’s coworkers and their wives. Jasmine had fun with Stephen, the son of one of hubby’s coworkers, and Masha, the daughter of hubby’s boss. They had fun running, playing, and of course dancing on the stage. Jasmine loves playing with Steven. I guess Jasmine found him cute :-) hahaha. Of course, when Santa came, the real “fun” began. Jasmine didn’t want to be with him, but she sat there for the gift. She didn’t even smile or tell him what she wants.

Anyway, to make this update short I finally resized a few pictures from our weekend. I hope you all have a happy weekend with your family and friends.

To all my online friends, I just want to say I am so sorry if I haven’t had a chance to visit each one of your blogs lately. I’ll try to visit each one of you when I get a chance.

Week-end escapades!

Hello, peeps! How is everyone doing? I’m doing ok, as you’ll see while you read this post.

Friday we went out shopping for our Christmas present for our Jasmine, we looked for something special, but wound up with clothing, toys, and books that she likes. Of course worked and Hubby had to watch Jasmine. The poor guy, he worked 12 hours, then had to watch the little Princess.

Saturday we went to a birthday party our friend’s daughter, who just turned three. It was a long drive just to attend a party, but we had fun and Jasmine was having a blast playing. It was like an indoor amusement palace. It’s huge inside the area and has a place for parties and snacks while watching your kids running around the place. We stayed until they announced closing time. The kids couldn’t get enough of it, especially Jasmine. She didn’t want to go home :-) I can't blame her, though, cause it was fun; even I became a kid while playing with Jasmine. We went home so tired; I had no more time to do blogging. Especially since I was wrapped up in that insanity that is PBBCE2.

Sunday it was the usual going out again. This time we visited the biggest Mall in our local community here in Germany. We bought some stuff for Jasmine and Hubby. Hubby is addicted to Deadwood and Rome. And let’s not even mention South Park. Why does he like these shows? They’re not cool like PBBCE2. We went home late again. Jasmine fell asleep while going back, so when we arrived she couldn’t sleep. I wound up staying up so late with her, that I decided to call Carlota. We talked for about half an hour, then Jasmine wanted to join our conversation, so I let her talk to Carlota. They had a little chat, and Jasmine sang Merry Christmas to Carlota. Carlota had fun listening to her cute little voice. Anyway, it was a good Sunday, as we had the chance to spend our family time.

This afternoon we went to see the tree lighting in our community. We also went to see Santa and get a picture afterwards. Luckily, this time Jasmine was in the mood to sit in Santa's lap. But she wouldn’t say anything to him. Oh, well, what can you do? After that, we had some sandwiches and went home.

Finally, I got to finish my update for the long weekend. Wish you all a great week. Enjoy the pics.
